Description

A busker's short memoir, who during Covid lockdown, toured the upper North Island of Aotearoa to give the public free entertainment.

John Davies – actor, writer, theatre director, and international busker, toured 15 towns in 19 days, spent 45 hours singing, to find his own story in Aotearoa. His perceptions and memoir bring context to land thefts and struggles, but also hope for recovery through perseverance and aroha. An anonymous busker bringing his simple gift. The sweet voice of song.
