Author Bio

Peter Bohlin is principal in the firm of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson.

Peter Miller started Peter Miller Books in 1982, an extraordinary shop that sells books on architecture and design, as well as supplies and products for the home. Miller is the author of Lunch at the Shop: The Art and Practice of the Midday Meal.

Alexandra Lange is an architecture and design critic whose work has appeared in Architect, Domus, Dwell, Medium, Metropolis, New York Magazine, the New Yorker blog, and the New York Times. She has taught architecture criticism at the
School of Visual Arts and the Urban Design & Architecture Studies Program at NYU.

Michael Cadwell is the Walter H. Kidd Professor and Director of the Knowlton School of Architecture at Ohio State University. He is the author of Pamphlet Architecture 17 and Strange Details.

Rick Joy is Principal of Rick Joy Architects, an architecture and planning firm established in 1993 in Tucson. He received the 2002 American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Architecture and in 2004 won the prestigious National Design Award from the Smithsonian Institute/Cooper-Hewitt Museum.
