Gerald Cubitt was born and educated in England. He received an Honours degree in Modern History and Political Science at Trinity College, Dublin. Gerald spent several years in Kenya developing his interest in natural history and wildlife photography. From there he transferred to Cape Town in South Africa which has been his base in more recent times.
