Author Bio

Margaret Eggleton has been drawing and painting almost all her life and now enjoys working in various media. All her art work has a strong emphasis on drawing. She was a school teacher for many years and now teaches adult classes. She has exhibited locally in Surrey and in London for more than twenty years. She is a member of the Society of Women Artists, the Society of Botanical Artists, and the Society of Graphic Fine Art (The Drawing Society), of which she is a council member. Denis John-Naylor studied natural history illustration at Bournemouth College of Art and wildlife painting, printmaking and life drawing at Swansea Institute. Denis also studied life drawing and painting privately under some well-known contemporary artists. In recent years he has won awards for portrait and plein-air painting. Over the years, he has contributed numerous articles to the Leisure Painter magazine on pencil drawing and acrylic painting. Hobbies include reading biographies and listening to music. Denis lives in Hornchurch, Essex.
